We control land which has potential for development but requires further promotion or investment in order for this potential to be realised. These sites provide us with potential to deliver improved returns from land which has been acquired at lower cost. Our dedicated land teams maintain and replenish our strategic land portfolio and our planning teams promote land through the planning system. Over 45% of our consented landbank has been acquired from these strategic sources.

Our development sites are pulled through from our strategic land portfolio, or purchased on the open market.  Maintaining our landbank gives continuity of supply, enables us to be selective in our land acquisitions and helps us to maintain a strong sales outlet network.

We focus on building family housing nationally under our key brands.  Space4’s modern method of construction delivers energy efficient homes and supports our production rates by easing resourcing pressures.   Our local management teams maintain tight control over our site activities and work in progress so that we not only control our build costs well, we can also react quickly to changes in the housing market.
